Our mission is to create enriching, high-quality learning opportunities for disadvantaged adult groups, including migrants, those with fewer qualifications, marginalised individuals, and the socially excluded. By promoting social inclusion, we empower these individuals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to thrive in a business-friendly environment.
At SLS Café, we understand that life skills are the foundation of independence and self-efficacy. We stand by the idea that everyone, regardless of their background, should have access to the key abilities and competencies needed for the modern world. This includes literacy, numeracy, and other crucial skills outlined in the European Union Council’s framework for lifelong learning.
Our collaboration with project partners has led to the creation of The Sustainable Life Skills Café Guidebook for Operators. This guide is a step-by-step manual for setting up both in-person and online SLS Cafés, ensuring that individuals have the tools to adapt to new economic, technological, and societal developments.
